As the days go on, we have new and exciting ideas that we can’t wait to see come to life in the current project. Every day we have a new idea whether it is a game mechanic, a character idea, a building design, or a neat little easter egg. Each one has its own meaning and comes from not only a design that we think is cool, but something that we feel can really become an iconic character within the world of our current project entitled *title removed by NSA for security reasons*. Huh? What gives? Anyway as I was saying, the game is called *Nope…*. WHY?! Ugh whatever, so anyway these new ideas and designs have been piling up over the past months and we are almost ready to get them into the world and really start seeing it come to life.
We’ve been holding off on revealing more about the game but would now like to share a few pieces of information with you. The game we are developing is going to be a 3D open world, sandbox style action adventure RPG, that focuses on the manipulation of the elements through alchemy. This world is going to feature a plethora of characters and enemies for the players to come across and interact with. The game’s use of alchemy is a slight twist than what most history buffs may know alchemy as. We are using the alchemy as our main form of abilities in the attack mechanics of the game. Players will need resources and items to mix, grind, pound etc. into the proper materials to perform an alchemical ability. This will not just be another button mashing game however, players will need to know how to properly use each ability, and in what situations would call for them. Making an incorrect choice in a heated situation could be devastating.
The world we are attempting to create, is not going to limit the player to a set path, hence the open world sandbox style. The world will contain different zones, where players will come across many different life forms, affected by the world’s chaotic state it’s been thrust into (more information soon to come on that subject). Players can expect to have an open world, procedurally generated landscape to explore and exercise the true meaning of adventure. With this system being put in place who knows what you’ll come across in your travels? You’ll just have to stock up and head into the wilderness to find out for yourself. For now though, it may be best for you to stick around here with us until you can learn a bit more about the world, and what kind of place it is.
